Handmade Bar Soaps by SoapMart

So awhile back I was blessed to be able to try out some laundry detergent made by SoapMart.

Well I got another package from Marylinn containing 4 of the most AMAZING handmade bar soaps I've ever smelt or used. They were Original Goat Milk, Apple Pie Goat Milk, Black Raspberry Goat Milk, and Lavender Goat Milk. Now I am not sure what she does to make these, but let me tell you, they are pure artisan, and would only expect to see these someplace like Trader Joes, or World Market.

In the box came with a little suggestion "...try the original before the others..." and so that is what I did. When I first used it, I was pleased that a soft warm oatmeal scent came from it. It lathered really well and was so creamy and silky that it was almost like using liquid body wash.

The ridges on the soap from it being cut made for nice little "scrubbies". When I got out of the shower and dried off, my skin looked so amazingly hydrated and healthy. All day long I had little whiffs of oatmeal and light cinnamon (although that could just be my imagination as I typically add a little cinnamon and sugar to my oatmeal when I eat it so I automatically associate oatmeal and cinnamon.)

Over the course of the week, I was able to use all 4 of the bars. Each with its own heavenly scent, creamy texture, and hydrating properties. I however must admit that out of Apple Pie is my favorite. For a fun summer smell I would recommend the lavender scent, the black raspberry for a nice fall, and apple pie for the holidays.

They are each so delectable that you want to eat them (probably the one time I would have welcomed my mouth being washed out with soap as a kid.)
