So I have been wanting one of these types of phone mounts for quite sometime. So I was really happy when I had the chance to review one. So there are a few things about this that are good.
First the base is both a suction cup, and an adhesive ring. However, that being said. The adhesive isnt really that sticky. If you have a textured dashboard, then you really are not going to get this thing to stick utilizing either the suction cup or the sticky.
I actually ended up super gluing mine to my dashboard. I found the place that I liked it the best and just glued it in spot. Now I have seen people with smooth surfaces able to use this no problem. But I just couldn't get it to stay in place. If you use the super glue method then you can always remove it later by using a bit of fingernail polish remover.
But for the price you really cant go wrong with this guy.
