Anyone pained by the daunting duty of trying to train their dog's barking has known the frustration of yelling at their dog to shut up when it begins to bark.
Well with this amazing, easy to use no bark collar it is easy. Having a yappy dog (in my case a female Pug who thinks she owns everything in a 16 mile radius) barks when her fleas fart, or a trees shadow touches her (not really but it seems like it.) So I got her this collar hoping that it would work in keeping the peace.
WHAT AN AMAZING DIFFERENCE. It took her a few minutes to figure out what was going on. I had the collar set to medium, so it wouldnt go off because she sneezed. But after a day of using it, I took it off her and took the battery out of it and put it back on her.
She didnt bark after that while it was on, but when I took it off completely she began barking. So now when I let her go outside I put it on her without the battery. Sometimes I dont bother to put it on at all, only the days where she is in one of her "barking" fits. I love the fact that it is otherwise discrete except that when it does go off it has this LOUD beep, but I think that is for the training purposes.
It also has adjuster buttons that you can use to set the level of sound intensity of the dogs bark. The lowest setting and the collar will go off on just about any noise the dog makes, the highest setting and the dog has to really be barking for it to go off. I tested these settings by blowing at the sensor like the instructions said. Im really happy with it and Im sure my new neighbors are happier with the quite.
